Official Rules

The Promotion may only be entered in or from the United States (the 50 states in the United States and the District of Columbia, excluding any US territories), Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom and entries originating from any other jurisdiction are not eligible for entry. This Promotion is governed exclusively by the laws of Australia. You are not authorized to participate in the Promotion if you are not located within the United States (the 50 states in the United States and the District of Columbia, excluding any US territories), Australia, New Zealand, or the United Kingdom (the “Jurisdiction”).
1. Eligibility. Participation is open only to legal residents of the United States (the 50 states in the United States and the District of Columbia, excluding any US territories), Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom who are 18 or older as of date of entry. Void outside of the United States (the 50 states in the United States and the District of Columbia, excluding any US territories), Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, and where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. Employees, officers and directors of the Sponsor (Kao Australia Pty. Limited, 1911 Malvern Road, Ground Floor, Malvern East, Victoria 3145) (“Sponsor”) and its parent companies, subsidiaries, related companies (“Related Companies”), Luxury Escapes and its parent companies, subsidiaries and related companies, or their respective affiliates, partners, advertising and promotion agencies, manufacturers or distributors of Promotion materials and their immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouse) or members of the same household (whether related or not) of such employees/officers/directors are not eligible to enter. The Promotion may only be entered in or from the United States (the 50 states in the United States and the District of Columbia, excluding any US territories), Australia, New Zealand, or the United Kingdom, and entries originating from any other jurisdiction are not eligible for entry. All applicable federal, provincial, state and local laws and regulations of the applicable Jurisdiction apply.
2. Timing. The Promotion begins on September 18, 2026 at 12:00 PM AEST and ends on September 25, 2026 at 2:00 PM AEST (the "Promotion Period").
3. How to Enter. Eligible entrants can enter via Instagram as follows:
i) Log in to or create your Instagram account;
ii) Visit and follow @BondiSands and @luxury.escapes
iii) Like the designated Collaboration between @BondiSands and @luxury.escapes announcing the Sweepstakes;
iv) Comment on the brand post by tagging a friend with whom you have a personal relationship. You will automatically receive one (1) entry into the drawing for the Promotion for each tag, for a maximum of five (5) entries.
Limit five (5) entries per person.
Entry into the Promotion is by this process only. By entering the Promotion, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Promotion.
No automated entry devices and/or programs permitted. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, stolen, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, misdirected, technically corrupted or garbled entries or mail, which will be disqualified, or for problems of any kind whether mechanical, human or electronic. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor.
4. Random Drawing/Odds. One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the drawing. The random drawing will be conducted by Sponsor on or about 28 September 2026. Sponsor will send the potential winner a direct message on Instagram on or about 29 September 2026 (“Winner Announcement”) and in any event within 21 days of the date the winners are drawn. All entrants should ensure their Instagram account settings allow them to receive direct messages from the Sponsor. By entering the Promotion, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these rules, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Promotion. The potential winner must contact Sponsor via a direct message on Instagram within 7 days of the Winner Announcement to redeem the prize and to provide mailing address information for the potential winner. If a potential winner does not redeem the prize within 7 days of the Winner Announcement, the prize will be forfeited, and Sponsor will award the prize to an alternate winner chosen randomly from the original pool of entrants in the same manner through which the original prize was drawn, on or about 28 October 2026. If the prize cannot be awarded after three alternate winners have been notified, the prize will remain unawarded.
5. Prize. One prize will be awarded to the confirmed winner. The winner will receive the following:
· $3,180 AUD via bank transfer (converted equal to local currency)
· 5 Nights stay at Prince Waikiki Resort for Winner and one adult guest (ARV $3,320 AUD), which shall include the following:
o 5 nights in an Oceanfront Harbour One King Bed
o Daily buffet breakfast at 100 Sails Restaurant & Bar
o Daily US$25 dining credit per package
o Daily US$53 resort fee included, with benefits including Honolulu Museum of Art entry, spa and golf discounts, and more
o 50% off self-parking for one vehicle per package
o Guaranteed 12pm late checkout
o All inclusions are valid for two guests.
· The travel component is valued at up to AUD $3,320 including GST, based on the recommended retail value of a comparable package as at 31 August 2026. Actual value may vary and no compensation is payable for any difference.
· The Winner must book directly with the Prize Supplier at promotions@luxuryescapes.com. Bookings must be made by 1 March 2027 and travel completed by 31 March 2027. If not, the travel component is forfeited and no compensation is payable.
· The travel component is subject to availability at the time of booking. Blackout dates apply. A non refundable surcharge per room, per night applies on certain dates, as identified in the booking calendar and listed below. If the Winner selects such a date, the Winner must pay that surcharge in full at the time of booking, at the Winner's own cost.
o 17 to 22 October 2026, USD 17 per room, per night
o 25 to 29 November 2026, USD 17 per room, per night
o 11 to 14 December 2026, USD 76 per room, per night
· Once the booking is confirmed, no changes are permitted, including travel date changes and name changes. The cancellation, refund, credit and date change rights displayed on Luxury Escapes website, including the 7 day change of mind guarantee, flexible cancellation for credit and self service date changes, do not apply to the Prize. It is not exchangeable, transferable, endorsable or refundable and has no cash value.
· The travel component does not include flights, transfers, travel insurance, passports, visas, parking beyond the discount described above, drinks, minibar charges, local taxes or fees, or any other personal or incidental expense. These are the responsibility of the Winner and the Winner's travel companion.
· The Winner and companion must each be 18 or over, hold a valid passport and any visa or travel authority required for entry into the United States, arrange their own travel insurance at their own cost, and travel together on the same itinerary.
· The travel component is provided subject to the Prize Supplier's standard booking terms and the accommodation provider's terms, available at luxuryescapes.com. By accepting the Prize the Winner and companion agree to be bound by them. If there is any inconsistency with these terms in relation to the travel component, the Prize Supplier's booking terms prevail.
· If the travel component or any inclusion becomes unavailable, the Promoter or the Prize Supplier may substitute a component of equal or greater value, subject to any written direction of a permit authority.
· The cash component is paid by the Promoter direct to the Winner. The Prize Supplier is not responsible for arranging, booking or paying for flights and does not represent that the amount is sufficient to cover flights or any other travel cost.
· The Winner is responsible for any tax consequence of accepting the Prize and should obtain independent advice.
Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Prize is $6,500 AUD. Limit one (1) Prize per person. Prize is non-transferable. No substitutions or cash redemptions. In the case of unavailability of any prize, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The winner will not be entitled to any additional compensation in the event that the prize has been substituted at equal or greater value. All expenses not specifically listed herein are the responsibility of winner (including without limitation airfare, ground or other transportation to or from port of departure, ground transfers, hotel accommodations, travel insurance, laundry service, spa treatments, food, beverages, local and long distance telephone calls, merchandise and souvenirs, incidental expenses, and all other costs and expenses not otherwise specified herein). Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. Sponsor is responsible if Prize is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason, in which event that portion of Prize is forfeited in its entirety and no substitution will be provided except as in the sole discretion of Sponsor. No substitution of the Prize or any component thereof is permitted, except in the sole discretion of Sponsor, each of which reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component of equal or greater value. The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-negotiable for cash, may not be resold, and cannot be used as partial payment toward a different Hotel stay. Winner’s guest must be 18 years or older. All travelers are responsible for providing proper citizenship documentation to travel, which may include passports, valid alien registration card and/or necessary visas. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
6. Prize Delivery. The confirmed winner will be sent a Prize within 1-3 weeks of receipt of the winner's BSB/routing number, Account Number, Full name, mailing address and contact number, and signed Declaration of Compliance, Liability, and Publicity Release and signed Companion Release. Sponsor is not responsible if the Prize cannot be delivered due to the winner providing an incorrect mailing address or for lost or misdirected requests.
7. Conditions. All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Participation in Promotion and acceptance of prize constitutes winner’s permission for Sponsors and its affiliates to use his/her name, address (city and state), likeness, photograph, picture, portrait, voice, biographical information and/or any statements made by each winner regarding the Promotion or Sponsor for advertising and promotional purposes without notice or additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. By participating, entrants and winner agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its advertising and promotion agencies and its parent companies, subsidiaries, Related Companies, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors, from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in the Promotion, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any Promotion-related activity and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery to the extent permitted by law. Entrants who do not comply with these Official Rules, or attempt to interfere with this Promotion in any way shall be disqualified. Prizes are non-transferable. No substitutions or cash redemptions. In the case of unavailability of any prize, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. There is no purchase or sales presentation required to participate. A purchase does not increase odds of winning. Sponsor is not responsible if Promotion cannot take place or if any prize cannot be awarded due to travel cancellations, delays or interruptions due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather or acts of terrorism.
8. Additional Terms for Online Promotion. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Promotion should (in its sole discretion) virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Promotion. In such case, Sponsor will select the winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or website. For details regarding collection of information from users of the Web site (including entrants), please consult the privacy policy on the web site. Additionally, Sponsor reserves the right to prosecute any fraudulent activities to the full extent of the law. In case of dispute as to the identity of any entrant, entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Any other attempted form of entry is prohibited; no automatic, programmed; robotic or similar means of entry are permitted. Sponsor, and its parent companies, subsidiaries, Related Companies, affiliates, partners and Promotion and advertising agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, Web site, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate capture of entry information (regardless of cause) or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit one's ability to enter the Promotion, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participating in this Promotion or downloading any materials in this Promotion.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
9. Release. By receipt of any prize, winner agrees that to the extent permitted by law to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Instagram, Inc., and Front Row, and their respective subsidiaries, Related Companies, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. For the avoidance of doubt, no provision in these Official Rules shall be construed as restricting, limiting or excluding the liability of any party which cannot be restricted, limited or excluded under law including under consumer laws. All of these Official Rules are subject to this term.
10. Use of Data. Sponsor will be collecting personal data about entrants online, in accordance with its privacy policy. Please review the Sponsor’s privacy policy at https://www.kao.com/americas/en/privacy/. By participating in the Promotion, entrants hereby agree to Sponsor’s collection and usage of their personal information (including the publication of details of the winners (including their name, suburb and state) on the Sponsor’s website and social media pages or in a newspaper as required by applicable law). In addition, Sponsor reserves the right to disclose the names of winners to all relevant regulators as required by law. Entrants acknowledge that they have read and accepted Sponsor’s privacy policy. Entrants acknowledge and agree that all information provided by participating in the Promotion will be collected, used, held, stored, retained and disclosed in accordance with all relevant data protection laws, including but not limited to the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand), Privacy Act 1988 (Australia), relevant US state laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act, the UK General Data Protection Regulation, and Data Protection Act 2018 (England and Wales).
11. List of Winners. Instagram handle of confirmed winner will be published on the Sponsor’s Instagram page within 5 days of the date of the draw. The name of the winner may also be obtained by mailing a self addressed stamped envelope by October 1, 2026 to Kao Australia Pty. Limited, Attn: Bondi Sands Luxury Escapes Promotion, 1911 Malvern Road, Ground Floor, Malvern East, Victoria 3145.

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram, Inc. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to the Sponsor and not to Instagram. The information entrants provide will only be used in accordance with these terms and conditions. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this Promotion must be directed to the Sponsor and not to Instagram. Further, entrants release Instagram and its associated companies from all liability arising in respect of the Promotion.
