Terms and Conditions - Free Sample Giveaway

1. We are Kao (UK) Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 04471658 and our registered office is at 21 Holborn Viaduct, London, EC1A 2DY.

       2.The promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom who are aged 18 and over from 16^th June 2025 to 3^rd August 2025 (Promotional Period).

       3. To receive a free 10ml sample of our Bondi Sands Everyday SPF50+ Face Lotion, you must scan the QR code on our campaign posters and complete the information requested in our online form during the Promotional Period. 

       4. By applying for a sample, you agree to these terms and conditions.

       5. There is a limit of one free sample per person and the provision of samples is subject to availability. No purchase is necessary to apply for a sample. Samples are for personal use, not for re-sale and there are no cash alternatives.

       6. We do not take any responsibility for ineligible or incomplete applications (whether due to failure or non-availability of the QR code or online form or any other reason) and any ineligible or incomplete applications will not be considered valid.

 7.    It is your responsibility to ensure the details you provide to us are complete and accurate. Samples could take up to four weeks to be delivered following submission of your application. We accept no liability for samples lost in transit, misplaced, delayed or otherwise.

8. Any imagery or video used in connection with the sampling campaign is for illustrative purposes only and colours and other minor details may vary. Your reliance on any such imagery is excluded.

9.All data provided by participants will be treated in line with our Privacy Policy (available at https://bondisands.co.uk/pages/privacy-policyand will only be used for the purposes of administering the delivery of the samples.

10. We will not be liable for any loss which is not reasonably foreseeable or for any business loss (including loss of profit, business, goodwill, opportunity and other similar losses) arising in connection with any order placed by you.

11. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits any liability which cannot legally be limited including liability for: death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

12.Subject to the preceding two paragraphs, our total liability to you in respect of this promotion (including the sample) (whether in contract, tort (including negligence), misrepresentation or otherwise) shall be limited to the value of the sample.

13. You must follow any advice we give you to keep the sample we supply to you safe (including any instructions provided). We cannot accept liability for any loss or damage caused by your failure to follow this advice.

14. These terms and conditions represent the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the sampling campaign. The invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability of the whole or any part of the terms and conditions does not affect the remainder of these terms and conditions, which will remain in full force and effect. These terms and conditions do not create any right or benefit enforceable by any third party.

15. You have several options for resolving disputes with us. You can: contact our Customer Service Team who will do their best to resolve any issues you have with us or our products; or you can go to court.

16.The sampling campaign and these terms and conditions are governed by English law and we both agree that any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions may only be dealt with by the courts of London, England unless you are resident in another part of the United Kingdom, in which case the applicable law of that part of the United Kingdom will apply and any dispute will be brought before the courts there.
