re I bought it.

I put it on yesterday and admittedly left it til I showered this morning. However, as I well know, 3 hours would be fine as you are only washing off the guide colour, the tan will continue to develop more. (I do think that washing off after just an hour would be detrimental and would not provide the best result. ) The guide colour is at it says, bluey grey, but it's not horrific. (I didn't have the usual stupid, rude comments that I get from my dear partner about everything I do! He is a typical Norfolk bloke who has absolutely 0 interest in body products other than taking the p***! 🤣

I wore jeans after applying as the weather was on the cool side and as expected the guide colour came off on them. But I've washed them and they have come up like new.

My tan this morning is perfect! It's not streaky. It's not orange. It's not too dark. It is honestly beautiful, even golden and a strong colour is the best way to describe!

As I have said I have waited 30 years for such a product! There is no disgusting biscuit smell. If I want to get a darker colour I will just put on another application.

To other users' low star reviews I would urge you to have another go. Make sure you are doing the following, as with all fake tan it is vital to prepare your skin. Make sure you thoroughly exfoliate. Otherwise the tan will come off quickly and in patches because your skin is shedding.

Do not use moisturiser before using self tanning products. This will also cause the tan to become patchy, streaky or swirly! Moisturise once the colour is developed.

Wear gloves under a tanning mitt otherwise as I have found, especially with well used mitts, that the tan bleeds through. When you have done your body then take off gloves and use the residual tan on them to go over the back of your hands and fingers and fade out near to nails and towards palms so that you dont get disgusting tan hands! A terrible and unsightly give away!

After 2 days gently exfoliate all over and repeat application to avoid losing your tan. In between, moisturise with a suitable colour tanning moisturiser to, again, prevent it from going patchy.

What I have also found, ladies and gents of a similar age with freckles and particularly age spots, this product does not highlight them to make them really dark and obvious which over the last 2 years has put me off using tanning products and I have tended to just use wash off body make-up.

I have been using fake tan for over 30 years. I am literally just a 50 year old teacher desperately clinging to my youth, and I am not a qualified expert, but I am a self tanning, fake bake addict and over the years have perfected the art, but with products that are really not suitable- until now!😃
